Saul David is a historian, broadcaster and author of several acclaimed works of fiction and non-fiction, including SBS Silent Warriors: The Authorised Wartime History (William Collins, 2021), Crucible of Hell: Okinawa. The Last Great Battle of the Second World War (William Collins, 2020) and Operation Thunderbolt (Hodder & Stoughton, 2015). He is Professor of Military History at the University of Buckingham and Course Director and Tutor of Buckingham’s London-based MA in Military History by Research: The Art of War from Marlborough to Montgomery, 1701–1945
