Eleanor Janega is a medieval historian and broadcaster. Her specialisms include sexuality, propaganda, apocalypticism, and the urban experience. She is the author of books including The Once and Future Sex: Going Medieval on Women's Roles in Society (2023), and The Middle Ages: A Graphic History (2021). In addition to writing, she holds a history BA from Loyola University Chicago, and an MA and PhD from UCL. Eleanor teaches in the International History Department at the London School of Economics.
