David Olusoga is the author of Black and British: A Forgotten History (Macmillan, 2016), The Kaiser’s Holocaust: Germany’s Forgotten Genocide and the Colonial Roots of Nazism (Faber and Faber, 2010) and The World’s War (Head of Zeus, 2014). He has written the foreword for a new edition of The Interesting Narrative of the Life of Olaudah Equiano, out now from Hodder & Stoughton.
Brought up in the north-east of England, Olusoga is also an award-winning broadcaster and film-maker, and the presenter of multiple BBC series including A House Through Time.
